What a wonderful Thanksgiving we had his year. Spending time with family and friends we are reminded of how much there is to be thankful for. A healthy family, a loving husband, two beautiful children, a supportive extended family, loving friends, and the list goes on and on. Thursday afternoon we had a wonderful lunch with the Wolgemuth side of the family at Aunt Ruth and Uncle Joe's house in Mt. Joy. We don't get to see that side of the family that often so it was great to see everyone and spend time catching up. Thank you McFarland's for hosting such a wonderful meal for everyone! Then we were off to Lititz to have a Thanksgiving dinner with my family at Luther Acres this year. Since my grandfather is unable to get around much anymore we decided to bring dinner to them this year. My grandmother reserved a room for us, and everything turned out great! Two meals in one day!!! Home that night by 8pm to watch the Eagles beat the Cardinals!!! GO EAGLES!!!!!!!
Friday morning Carter and Olivia had doc apts. to follow up on their ear infections....all 4 ears were clear!!! Olivia weighed in at 13 pounds 7 oz, and Carter at 15 pounds 9 oz! They are growing so fast. Friday afternoon that family went grocery shopping and then home to make dinner to take along to Todd and Amanda's house. We went down to their place around dinner time to see "Smoke's" finished room! It looks so stinkin cute...every inch is boy!
Saturday morning we turned 7 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Carter and Olivia!
Our daddy is so crafty...he made snowflakes with us out of coffee filters! This was the kids first homework assignment to do over the weekend.
Saturday morning Harley has her day at the spa...bath, nails, and ears....she was pampered and loved every minute of it! While we waited for Harley we went shopping and had lunch at 5 Guys...that was our first time there and LOVED THE FOOD! Saturday afternoon Mitch's grandparents brought up Carter's first Hess Truck...being a girl, I never paid any attention to those in the past, but the truck is actually really cool! I'm not sure who was more interested in the truck though...Carter or Mitch?! It was perfect for Carter's first truck..it's a dump truck just like the one Mitch used to drive! We decorated the house and put up the tree...Since I am allergic to real Christmas trees we have to use an artificial tree. Saturday night Nana and Uncle Craig brought up dinner and visited for the evening. Thanks for dinner Rachel!

Sunday was rainy, but we still all ventured out to visit Santa... the kids did great and Santa was brave enough to hold them both! He whispered to mommy that maybe he should only do one at a time because it has been awhile since he held one that small!!! After visiting Santa we came home to wrap presents and watch our Christmas movie...Leap and Lilly! Christmas day is just around the corner and we love this time of year!!!!
This is the first year that Mitch did not go to the mountains hunting. Though he really wanted to go he realized that we both lost a lot of work this year with the babies being born. Hopefully next year he will be able to go, but it was really nice having him home with us all weekend to get our decorating done. What a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with so much to be Thankful for!
