Thank you to everyone who continues to bring meals for Mitch and I at the hospital. This is such a big help for us at the end of a long day and before an even longer night. Now that Carter is home we are running between home and the hospital constantly. Fortunately Carter is allowed back into the NICU to visit with his sister so our evenings together as a family continues as we all sit together at Olivia's bedside. We read our bedtime story book and say our prayers early before leaving at 7pm. Olivia is improving so well...she is kicking butt and definitely our little hero. She is so brave being by herself in the hospital and we couldn't possibly be more proud of our little girl....love has a new meaning and gets stronger with each passing day. Carter had his first doctor appointment today...he now weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces and 18 1/4 inches long. He is in the 5Th percentile for weight and head circumference and 40% for length. This is based for 100 premature babies who are also 35 weeks gestation...so in other words he is tall and slender. The doctor wants us to count his calories and try to bulk him up over the next few weeks. In the meantime we need to go into the doctor office once a week to get weighed. Enjoy the latest photos!
