There has been so much going on that I would be here all night updating...and lets face it we would rather just see the pictures anyways!

Mitch is such an amazing father...his true purpose in life! Carter and Olivia are so blessed!

Carter and Liv just loved being carried up to bed the other night in the wash basket! It was so funny to see their little faces!
Carter and Olivia spent the night at Memaws on Saturday night with their cousins Jess, Victoria, and Elizabeth. They all had so much fun together! Here they are hanging out when we got there to pick them up Sunday morning. Mitch and I spent our Saturday night Christmas shopping...and we are proud to announce that we are FINISHED!!! We had our romantic dinner for two at Cici's...this was our first experience, and can officially say our last one too! The pizza wasn't bad, but what chaos!!
Sunday we had Thanksgiving dinner with the Denlinger family. It was at Mitch's grandparents house and we all had a wonderful time! Here are Carter and Olivia hanging out with their cousin Kaitlyn. She is 11 months old and such a busy girl! They are all going to have so much fun together once Carter and Olivia are moving around too!
Then off to Uncle Todd and Aunt Amanda's baby shower... They had piggy banks out to vote on "Smoke's" real name...Connor or Jackson. We haven't heard yet who won?!?!?!
"Smoke" got a lot of really nice things!!! We can't wait to go and see the nursery once everything is finished. We'll post pictures when it's done!
Both Carter and Olivia are doing well with eating squash and peas..some days they are really interested and then other days they want nothing to do with it!
We can't wait for Thursday...Thanksgiving Dinner is always our favorite! After the year that we had we have just so much to be thankful for! Being parents of such wonderful children...we couldn't be more thankful! So hard to believe that just 1 year ago we set out on this journey, and what a wonderful trip it has been!!! The four of us all have a four day weekend and looking forward to lots of cuddling time!

We've had quite a journey this year to get to where we are today...the severity of Kala's health condition during her pregnancy and delivery, the frightening days and nights when the babies were in NICU (all the tubes, the monitors, the alarms), the even more frightening days when the babies first came home, Carter's return to the hospital...but thanks to our most gracious God, look where we are today. On this Thanksgiving Day 2008, I want to thank both of you not only for allowing me to share these amazing experiences with you but for wanting, needing and loving me. And I can't thank you enough for those precious grandchildren. Love to all of you, Memaw.
