Last night Carter's fever peaked at 103.6. His cough got much worse and he seemed to be wheezing while struggling to breathe. I called the doc again and she suggested that if the fever didn't break we go to the ER. This morning we decided to take him, but the doc agreed to meet us at the office first to evaluate him. She diagnosed him with Croup and gave him steroids to help with the breathing. Croup is an upper respiratory virus that is highly contagious so we are home from daycare until at least Wednesday. This is by far the sickest the kids have been and has been SOOO stressful caring for two sick babies! Lots of hugs, fluids, and Tylenol! Liv's fever has been remaining low today around 100-101, but Carter is still sitting around 101-102. We pray that our little angels start feeling better soon.
